Dear Pilzlers,

 

It makes me proud to announce that we have crossed another milestone, actually two milestones, in the history of our company Pilz Japan.

The first one, in January this year, our company has completed 25 years of its establishment. I would like to take this occasion to thank you all for being an earnest part of our company success.

If it was not for the covid19 pandemic, we would have organized a celebration event including most probably members from our German Headquarters. However, as you know already, “Safety first” is one of our modo and the event had to be postponed.

Talking about Safety, Safety in Japan is a concept that used to rely more on the people safe behavior rather than on the machinery safety itself. Therefore, regulations and technical implementations in Japan were less of a topic compared to Europe for example where Pilz is leading in many aspects of the Safety world. Nevertheless, 25 years later, what began as a small office in Japan with just few members has risen up into a very stable entity that can foresee very promising years to come.

Thanks to our dear customers and employees, our company has and will continue to have countless achievements and accomplishments. We can even mentioned that in the recent years we have survived a cyber-attack that impacted us for 6 months and a pandemic that has stressed our business for almost 3 years. Not to mention that during the pandemic and the supply crisis amplified by the war in Ukraine, we have been able to steadily respond with reliability to our customers’ needs; something we can be very proud of too.

 

The second announcement is also very important to mention since Ura-Pilz is celebrating its 50th publication anniversary.

And I would also like to thank you all for following our journey on safety and non-safety related discussions which started in 2016. Ura-Pilz will continue its journey towards the 100th publication thanks to your contributions and active participation.

On a more personal note, it has been 3 years since I have joined Pilz Japan as Managing Director. I am looking forward many more years to come and the bright future I have mentioned above. When time will go back to “normal”, I wish we will be able to meet in person and celebrate around some drinks and good food.

 

Again,　thank you all for your support. Every one of you plays an important role in the development of our company. It is because of your dedication, hard work, support and interest that we are at this height.

親愛なるピルツのお客様、関係者のみなさま

拝啓

  ピルツジャパンの歴史において、新たな節目を迎えられたことを誇らしく思います。実際は、２つの節目を迎えました。

  まず、今年の1月に当社は設立25周年を迎えました。この場を借りて、みなさまのご愛顧に心から感謝いたします。

コロナ禍でなければ、おそらくドイツ本社からも幹部が参加し、お祝いのイベントを開催するはずでした。しかし、ご存じの通り「安全第一」が当社のモットーであるため、イベントはやむなく延期しました。

  安全と言えば、以前の日本の安全の考え方は、機械安全よりも人の安全行動に頼ることが主流でした。そのため、ピルツが安全業界で主導権を握る欧州などに比べ、日本では（安全の）規制や技術的な実装が軽視されていました。しかしながら、小さなオフィスにわずか数名の社員でスタートした当社は、25年を経て、将来の有望な安定した企業に成長しました。

  お客様のご愛顧と従業員の貢献により、当社は多くを達成しましたが、今後も引き続き新たな目標を達成してまいります。また、近年当社はサイバー攻撃による半年におよぶさまざまな障害を乗り越え、3年近い新型コロナウイルスによるビジネスへの打撃も克服して来ました。パンデミックやウクライナ戦争によるさらなる供給危機の最中であっても、当社は常にお客様のニーズに応える対応を行ってまいりました。そのことを誇りに思っております。

  2つ目のご報告も大変重要です。「裏ピルツ」（と連動のメルマガ）が刊行50回を迎えるからです。

2016年の創刊以来、安全と安全と全く関係のない内容で綴るこのブログの旅に引き続きご参加いただき、ありがとうございます。みなさまのご意見やご愛読のおかげで、「裏ピルツ」（メルマガ）は第100号の刊行を目指して、今後も旅を続けてまいります。

  私個人としては、ピルツジャパンの代表取締役に就任して3年が経ちました。今後も現職を継続し、先述のような明るい未来が来ることを待ち望んでいます。「日常」が戻る日が来ましたら、みなさまと対面でお会いし、祝宴の場を設けたいと思います。

  みなさまのご支援に、今一度感謝いたします。お一人お一人が当社にとって重要です。みなさまのご貢献、ご尽力、ご支援、ご高配によって当社はここまで来ることができました。

  今後もピルツジャパンは、従業員の貢献、お客様、フォロワーからのご支援によって前進してまいります。
